If you’re here, you’re looking to get away from the hospital and big-box anesthesia staffing. 

With that in mind, let’s talk a typical day at M2.

The days start between 6-7 AM. Our doctors talk with patients and their families, and then walk the kids back to the procedure room. As they patients go to sleep, we’ll read a story, play an imagination game, or just having them pick a flavor for the anesthetic. Once they’re asleep, the IV, breathing tube, and monitors are placed, our anesthesiologists stay with them throughout the procedure.

When it’s time, our doctors take them to recovery and stay with them for the 5-10 minutes it takes to wake up. Once they’re in a great place, we send them home with their families.

Our patients are very healthy (ASA 1), letting us put more energy into personalized care.

The days tend to wrap between 1-3 PM. Some of us work 4 days a week close to home, others like to travel around, and work fewer days.
